Backup Local Data

There are a few options for backing up local data at the Culverhouse College of Business:

  1. Use the College of Business's backup service: Many universities provide backup services for faculty, staff, and students. Check with your university's IT department to see if they offer a backup service and how to use it.

  2. Use cloud storage: There are many cloud storage services available, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive, that allow you to backup and sync your files to the cloud. This can be a convenient option as it allows you to access your files from anywhere with an internet connection.

  3. Use an external hard drive: You can also backup your data to an external hard drive. This is a good option if you want to keep a physical copy of your data or if you don't have a reliable internet connection.

It's important to regularly backup your data to ensure that you don't lose any important files in case of a hardware failure, theft, or other unforeseen events. It's also a good idea to keep multiple backups in different locations to ensure that you have redundancy in case one backup fails.
